I wonder if the pulling sleds have a NTPA mandated maintenance and inspection schedule ? I'm thinking that they do, but what about the sleds owned by the clubs that don't pull all the time.?

IT IS QUITE DIFFICULT TO COMPLETELY INSPECT ROLLER CHAIN! WHILE THE OUTER LINKS ARE MORE VISIBLE THEY MUST BE WASHED CLEAN TO PROPERLY INSPECT THEM! THE INSIDE LINKS ARE MOSTLY CONCEALED FROM VIEW BY THE INNER ROLLER, AND THE OUTER LINK !! ALSO BOTH LEFT SIDE AND RIGHT SIDE CHAINS FAILED TOGETHER, WHICH IS QUITE RARE!! BEEN THERE , DONE THAT!!
